Life Is a Cabaret!

Hey, guys!

Yeah, it's been basically an entire month since my last post. Just goes to show 'ya how exciting my life's been lately.

But I guess I do have a lot to catch you up on.. Those of you still with me. (;

Firstly, I auditioned for the new Cameron Crowe film, "We Bought a Zoo" for the role of Lily. Sent that in a week and a half ago. I'm feeling pretty good about it. :D We'll see!!

Next, my friend from school is really looking toward becoming a film director/writer. And she's gonna enter some student film contests. So, that means more film credits for me! :P

Today, we had auditions at school for the musical, "Cabaret," and I auditioned for the role of Sally Bowles. Got a callback. That'll be tomorrow. Then the cast list. Gahhh.

Also, it is definitely looking like I will be going to LA somewhat soon with a reel to show an agent in Beverly Hills! So, if I sign with them, I will DEFINITELY have much more to be blogging about!

I have also been working a lot on my music. I had an epiphany about a month ago and have decided to go all acoustic. If I end up doing music as a part of my career, which I'd like to in the future, it will be me and my beautiful guitar. I've been writing a lot and really improving myself as an artist in all of my areas.

Some family coming in tomorrow! That'll be fun!
But, that's basically all I have to say to you.
I deeply apologize.

However, I promise to find the exciting in everyday from now on and blog, because I feel really bad about leaving you all hanging for so long!

Song of the day:

"Back to December," Taylor Swift.

(OH YEAH!! Did I mention that Ms. Swift's new album, "Speak Now," comes out in THIRTEEN DAYS!? Yeah, I'm just a little excited.)

Line:

"You gave me roses and I left them out to die."

I think this is a beautiful line of regret and love, but also a metaphor for life, not just a relationship. I could see myself, T-Swift, or anyone singing this about life.. like, I was given a wonderful opportunity or a great guy, or this awesome idea but I just let it go, didn't even bother with it.

Brilliant.

Oh, one more thing.

I'm not sure if you are aware, but I have an obsession with fortune cookies. At least one a day. But I NEVER eat them. I think they're gross. Plus, I think it's bad luck to eat them. It makes it not come true. So, now I'm going to share my fortune with you all everyday!! :D hope you're alright with that!

Today's fortune:

"An old wish will come true."
